I've come to that road where I have to replace my current ride to something new. Just like some of my fellow Haunters, I made part of my choice based upon my hobby. So I am going from a black 02 Pontiac Grand Prix to a Red Chevy HHR.

Now there are certain things that I have done with my car for the season. One is having either skeletons or Stabbo the clown in the empty seats for most of October. When I have my Halloween parties and TOTers, I use the car in the front yard scene to look like it hit a fence and tree. I add strobes in it for cool nighttime effects.

With the new HHR, I'll have the trunk open with a monster or body lying in it. Plus it has more space for transporting new decorations on November 1st.

What do you drive? Do you add any decorations in October? And how do you use it in your display if you do?

LOL, I drive a '99 Dodge Caravan! Absolutely nothing cool about it, except that I can take middle and back seats out and haul almost anything I need! It's got 145,000 miles on it and still going strong so I think, unless I win the lottery, I'll be driving it for at least a few more years.

2004 Chevy Classic, grey so it won't show too much dirt. I drive around listening to NPR with the windows down. I'm just cool like that. Bloody handprint window clings will go in my backseat windows for Halloween as soon as I make sure I'm not going to get pulled over for something that stupid.

That's amazing, do you have pictures of the rest? Where do you even park them all?

Sidnami- I really like that idea to make your car look like it hit a fence/ tree. Have thought about that too. Have seen it somewhere; think they had fog coming out from a raised hood somehow. too.
As far as decorating my Mustang......never. LOL It's black and only plays Midnight Syndicate. That's enough. It would be like putting a bow on my German Shepherd!! lol
I think it's great when others do, tho, just not me.

Madame Leota, I'm with you! I drove a '92 Dodge Caravan until last year when I retired it and got an '07 Dodge Caravan! My main criteria was "I gotta be able to haul stuff!"

Sidnami, we just rented an HHR for a weekend camping trip Up North and they're "Zippy" as the hubby put it. Very nice to drive!!

We used to have a beat up 1993 Chevy Blazer (aka Da Hoopdie) that I was going to put in my display this year as a wreck, but we ended up donating it to charity and gaining part of our yard back!!

I currently drive a 2000 Ford Escort which will be turned over to the daughter in about 3 years when she gets her license.

My husband just got a huge Ford F150 truck last week. We're talking about putting a cargo net in the bed as a spider web & a giant spider with light up eyes.
