Well the Spirit Halloween store has finally opened up here. Didn't really see much that caught my eye. I will have to admit the caged beast is something i may end up with. They didn't have all of their stock in yet...next week I'm told.

Anyone else finding the same things ?

I'm finding that in my area, the stores that do have their stuff out, don't have it all out, yet.

A way of getting us to come back more often, perhaps? lol

I haven't seen anywhere in my area that there's goingto be a Spirit or Halloween Express in my area. I'm starting to wonder if we're even going to get them.

Have you looked at their website?

I didn't know where mine was going to be till I looked it up.

And it's in a mall that sits back from the road and is a ghost shopping plaza.

I was told because there has been a back up from China, so any props coming from there are tending to be late.

I checked out a Spirit store on Friday that had just opened, and realized that if you're not into hardcore blood and guts and slutty costumes, there's no real need to shop there. I was disappointed, to say the least. Maybe they will get more stuff but jeez, it's mid September now - how long are they going to wait? My Halloween money will be long gone by the time they're fully stocked.

    Exactly.

Our store opened up yesterday. I couldn't believe how little a selection of decorations and props they had. The whole store seemed to be devoted to porn shoes and too short costumes. I know they have their place, but the majority of Americans should NOT be wearing these costumes.

There wasn't one animatronic. The very disinterested clerk told me that props are delayed.

My daughter and I spent the day yesterday Halloween window shopping. We realized that most of our needs are now met at the local Home Depot.

i was disapointed in the amount of props and also the few different ones in the store i visited.they really didn't have much i was interested in.some of the new props look on the cheesey side to me.last year the wicked woods theme was very good.this year its a carnival theme and also a graveyard theme.

The stores by me had about 1/2 their stuff out (mostly the costumes and a few of the props.) I've noticed that what they do sell has been looking rather pathetic compared to earlier years. Anyone else noticed this? It could be since I scavenge my materials so they have the natural decayed or used look, bought materials are just too "new and shiny."
