I was driving to Home Depot yesterday to get a new saw when I passed a house that was replacing their windows. In the front of the garage sat the old front window glass. i told my wife that I was going to ask if i can have it. she looked and me and said "they're not going to give you the glass. so i parked the truck and got out to ask the guy what he was going to do with it. he gave me some story that they take it back to the shop and bla bla bla. so i told him that i wanted the glass for Halloween. I explained to him that i do a big Halloween display for the ToTrs and i wanted the glass for a peppers ghost. He looked at me funny so i told him like the ghosts in the Haunted mansion lol. He said "OH COOL! ANY THING FOR HALLOWEEN!" he asked me if i wanted all of the glass but i said naw just the big one lol. he then told me that there were 2 of the big front window glass and i can have the other just in case the first one broke lol. Just goes to show you that it never hurts to ask.

just don't say i told you so to the wife. that can not always be good. lol great deal though. did you tell the person to swing by on halloween as i'm sure they'd like to check it out.

It makes me happy that you can stop at a random persons house and hear "anything for halloween"

I love random acts of kindness for Halloween haunters! Good thing you have a truck! I'll bet your wife was stunned when you said "let's load her up!"

BTW welcome to posting here. I hope you will post pics of your haunt and the effect (if it comes out in pics) later on.
