lol...Blakkheart!
I'm with Smart though, unfortunately we have had issues with items in our neighbourhood suddenly growing legs the last couple of years so I wait until a couple days beforehand. I never used to worry about this type of thing, its very unfortunate.![]()

As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

Typically I put the scarecrow out on Oct 1 then add a little every now and up till Oct 30. Then everything but the big stuff goes out. Lastly the main props go out on the 31st only.
This year its probably gonna be a little different since landscaping is included in our rent (ie: lawn guys could show and screw up props or wiring for lights that they can't see riding their lawn mowers). Our landlord knows we decorate and we have a request not to have the lawn guys come during the last two weeks or so of October (we'll see how that works out).
We should still be able to at least get the scarecrow out. We typically crank up "This is Halloween" from Nightmare Before Christmas and march around the outside of the house before planting him. He does usually get moved a couple times before 1031.

My entire display is only up on Halloween night, usually i take everything down at about 10.00pm, If i were to start putting things out at the start of October they would almost defiantly be stolen
also Halloween isn't big at all in my area so everyone would just think we were weird. ( I think your considered weird here just for putting out more than 2 pumpkins)
Thanks
