I went down to the states over the long weekend and went to the only Spirit open there. I had an amazing experience!! I told the worker I was from Canada and wanted to spend some money. They stopped everything they were doing and helped with all the props I was getting. Unfortunitly I had to buy some of the display models, but they took everything apart for me and boxed it nicely, also got some discounts. They were only open for a few days so it didn't bug me that I had to buy the displays, plus they did some modifications to them that were pretty good. They even gave me a free t-shirt, and packed the van for me.

That's cool, Mummy! I hope all the props still work OK after you get them home. I know some others have mentioned having problems with a few of the Spirit props.

I think the same could be said of most animated props whether it be from Spirit or Walmart or Target. The props these days aren't made to the same standards of a decade ago.

I've purchased a few things including a large prop from Spirit this year and their receipt says:

No cash refunds after 10/17. We will gladly accept exchanges up to 10/22 as long as the item is resalable, in its original package and it is accompanied by a receipt of purchase. All sales are final after 10/22/10.

And the manager did suggest to me that I put the prop together and try it out as soon as possible so that if there was a problem with it, he could locate a replacement for me before the supplies got scarce. He said if he is out of something and it's not like the mid to end of October, he could probably even order another one from Spirit and have it delivered to the store. I have found them to be very nice to deal with.

I did put them all together in my room at the hotel before driving back to Canada. Since I knew I couldn't return them. I will post photos tomorrow. =) Sometimes to just have to make the drive to get the goodies. Just seeing them in person makes such a huge difference. I wasn't interested in Demonica at all, until I saw her in action.

I have had positive experiences whenever I have shopped in Spirit stores as well. I have come across very helpful, friendly staff.
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.
