Wanted some feedback on this. Was at my local Costco store the other day and saw a bag of 80 cans of playdough for halloween each can is 1 oz. Was thinking of giving that out as well as candy this year. What do you guys think, oh and probably the rubber duckies I do every year for the little little ToTs

My kids always liked getting the little playdoh cans, mostly because there were unusual colors like brown and black in those assortments.
Undead and loving it!

I've wondered if I should do this too, along with candy. I do those little rubber duckies from Oriental Trading too!!

PlayDoh is awesome but probably loses its appeal to anyone over 10 YO (judging from my kids). If you get many TOTs older than that, you may want an alternative handout for them. But yeah, those little cans are great for those in the target age range.

I'm in agreement with Skelly, 10 years old and younger will think you're the greatest person in the world for giving them PlayDoh, meanwhile anyone above 12 will think you're a little batty.

11 is kind of a strange year, they go both ways in that age.
I work with first through sixth graders, so that's my experience lol.

You can always offer the kids a choice. If you run out of it well then it's just candy to hand out. I think if kids have collected a lot of candy, the playdoh is a nice treat. I think a lot of younger kids would opt for it.

I was thinking about getting some of these for the visiting tots-

Or something similar. Most of my visitors come in bunches, so it would be kind of neat to do. And that would for sure encourage them to do better and better costumes, and just plain remember to vist the house that gives a cool trophy for good costumes! Not a contest really, but recoginition for a standout. We always get one or two standout costumes every year at the door.
