Thread: Any idea what they do with it??

I have been a halloween junkie my entire life and there is something i've noticed about where i live...

When places begin to stock halloween items, they are bought/disappear at a pretty dramatic rate, but heres the kicker.. you hardly see anyone around here decorating for halloween beyond the window clings, or the harvest decor.

Even after halloween when i go scouting for good deals, alllll of the marked down things are gone already

So my question is, does anyone have any idea what people could be doing with all these decorations, but yet you never see any of these things anywheree???

If they are like me they can be stashing them til next year..or using them indoors..sadly some people love Halloween...but feel it's wrong to show it. :/

Nice to know im not the only one! it really makes me wonder what everyone does with it, party decor maybe??

Spookyone and I have for years wondered that. We like to think there is a Haunter out there in hiding.......

they buy everything cheap and put that on ebay or place like that for 2 time the price

Good Point. For all the stuff you see for sale, you sure don't see much of it in place anywhere. I'm not a big fan of the cheap, store-bought stuff, but I WOULD like to see it around the 'hood...

Maybe benevolent citizens are purchasing these items in bulk then shipping it off to Third World nations?

A lot of stores in my area are instructed to box it all up and ship it back to the distributor ASAP.

I'm sure this happens a lot.

I also think some stores carry the minimum. My CVS doesn't even have fall stuff out & were late even getting school supplies out. They'll probably have Halloween stuff out the week or so before.
