I go to Walmart today, thinking and hoping that they will have their Halloween out right? What Haunter does not think that?? After reading your post about how you guys would tear into the boxes just because you cannot wait that long for them to put the items out. I sit here thinking.... Gosh, I would never do that.

What a fool am I?????

Anyway, I go to Walmart and behold they only have just the Halloween candies out and nothing else. WTF?! Now before I go any further, I used to work for Walmart for 9 years, so I see my old friend and I said "WHY IN THE HE** DO YOU NOT HAVE YOUR HALLOWEEN CRAP OUT!!!" HE laugh since he knew I am always into Halloween. HE ask what I needed and I told him I needed 15 pumpkin pails to finish my outdoor decoartions. So he paged the Assistant Manager Linda and SHE was like "ITs not Halloween YET!" Jim replies, " I KNOW ITS NOT HALLOWEEN YET, but you have a customer and a genetlman here wanting 15 orange pumpkin pails. He gotten permission to go dig and got me 15 pails. I was happy but pissed at the assit. manager becuz she didnt want to put the Halloween items out.

Really made me mad! I think I am going to call and complain!

Our Wal Mart only has the candy out yet as well

Ditto for candy only. LOTS and LOTS of candy, like two aisles worth.

I am hoping to see costumes displays soon, cause I'm in desperate need of some cheap werewolf masks so I can make my wolves from Xmas deer. Got everything else standing by - just need those masks!

Target on Monday was JUST starting to put out their costumes, and some decorations. Gotta hope it all starts happening soon........

Same here! Mine has harvest stuff out and candy. That's it. All their 'back to school' supplies are still in the front of the store. Even though school went back 3 weeks ago, lol.

Well unfortunately, most people are not as call as we forum members are. If I had a halloween store my stuff would be out every single day of the year.

True dat! I went to Spirit on my way home from work this evening and the cashier was saying how busy it has been considering this is only their 2nd day open. I said "I know. I was here yesterday"

Im going to walmart tomorrow, not getting my hopes up though! Seeing boxes not opened would make me angry too!!

SEE! I already went to Halloween City to do some shopping and they didnt have what I needed. I am holding off going to Target and I know right now K-mart didnt have anything out either the day before, Because I stopped there hoping to get the pails.

This is why I like taking a peek in the back sometimes! Lol!

I know that my excuse is always: "I was searching for a nearby employee restroom as I had to go really bad and didn't want your associates paging on the intercom "Clean-up in Isle #4!!"

I'm SO relieved to know I'm not the only Halloween junkie out there. My problem is that I'm going to be broke by the time all of the stores get their supplies on the shelf. I've stalked Walgreens to death and buy things as soon as they put them out, spent WAAAY too much money at Spirit and Halloween City and we're not even in mid-September yet! I think I need an intervention.
