Scratch that.

I just tested it with the video I am going to use for the singing pumpkins I was going to do, and the edges are not sharp for a white on black image.

It will be going back to the store.

I'm using the Sharper Image projector ($50) for singing pumpkins and it looks fine.

I have the torpedo entertainment projector that originally retailed at $100. Very disappointed by the dimness of the image and quality of the sound. I will have to check cvs out. Their projector (if its the one linked to by Sac) it produces a larger image too. Sigh. Seemes every time i buy something a much better one comes out and makes me wish I'd waited. But I'm curious... how do you intend to use it?

That is the one I bought. It worked decent for movies, but was not good enough for the singing pumpkins.

I will probably scrap the plans for singing pumpkins and use the money towards something else.
