I'm just wondering what type of candy does everyone give out to trick or tr eaters?I usually give out, reeses pieces cups, mini milky way, snickers, 3 musketeers, kit kat bars, Hershey chocolates. I love mixing it with a bunch of different chocolates. Usually always end up having some left.

i'm doing a western theme this year. we're giving away short cans of sasparilla, beef jerkey, and red licorace or lemon drops. my daughter helps split the cost with me, so it depends on what the total cost is as to whether they get one, or two choices of what we have. i only had 50 kids last year. not like some of you who have hundreds of tot. of course, i can always dream

I usually give the same but this year i am trying to give out vintage candy too! juice filled Wax teeth, bottles and lips. Some older style candies that were handed out in the 80's.

In recent years I'd get themed goody bags and put pencils erasers rings little games and glow stuff and chocolate and some other halloween themed candy in each. We only got about 10-20 TOTs a year tho. This is our first year at this house. I think ill make some of the bags up and then just have back up crunch bars and starburst for when they run out. Maybe next year i can plan better by how many show up this time.

We try to do a mix of the best chocolate (snickers, milky way, reeses, etc.), some fruity hard candies, and fruity chewy candies too...just so there's something in there for everyone.
I've put more thought into my Halloween costume than my career.

I one day would like to give out full-size candy bars instead of the snack sized ones.

Druidness,
There is a few wholesale candy warehouses in downtown Los Angeles. I am going to buy using my parents old restaurant business License(no tax!!). They have soooo many varieties its crazy! I stopped buy a few weeks back when visiting the area during my company's new supplier business meeting. The things I do on my lunches or time away from the office! LOL! They sell to the public too but I am not sure if they have E-commerce. I will find out!A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..
