Ok first my observation what is going on with spirit halloween I drove 30 miles today to find outh they jacked their prices up 20 to 25% for stuff i can get elswhere for half the price. I literally saw a beware foam sign for 10 bucks that I picked up at target for a buck??? I know they are big spnsors of this site and Im glad larry is making a little extra cash for the ads heplaces on here for them but cheese and crackers. Ok now on to the good stuff.. I have been here in nc now for 4 years alsmost 5 and I have not met any haunters here so im in targets halloween section which is just in the beginning stage and what do I hear??? A ladies voice sayong they need more lights. I talked to her for a good 15 minutes about decorating we even walked around and looked at the stuff they had together. Was kind of cool thank you target.

Yep; Spirit is ridiculously expensive in many cases. I simply go to Big Lots, or especially Walgreens to get anything I like in Spirit! (Except for stuff you can't get anywhere else...)

At least your Spirit is open so you can at least go and look. Ours still has a sign that says "open soon" but there's no real sign that anything has been moved in.

Target? Wow! Our Target still just has back to school and over-priced garden items.

Our Spirit store only says "Opening in September" ... no idea what day.

Went to Spirit yesterday, they were still setting some stuff up...very few big items and just a lot of severed heads and zombabies. ): I did buy a cool pen though. Hehe. In another week I'll stop by again...

Haven't been to Target in a week as mine had no hint of Halloween stuff, except for an isle with pumpkin candles which were kinda nifty. When does Walmart set up??

Madame, check your city for Halloween Express, the one in North Houston was opened Saturday. Comparable to online prices with shipping.

We are finally getting a Spirit store here this year. As for our Target store, school doesn't start until Wednesday the 8th so I'll wait until next weekend to check in there for Halloween stuff.

We are going today to our halloween express and spirit store I went to the spirit store online and put in my zipcode it showed me which stores near me are already open the others said open by Sept 18th
