I went out and hit up a bunch of thrift stores yesterday. Check out the best thing I found for only three bucks; it's Gemmy's version of a Flying Crank Ghost:
I didn't know till I got it home and changed out the batteries whether it even worked, but lucky me, it did! One arm doesn't quite crank completely, but I think the effect is still pretty good. Also didn't realize till it was up and running that it came equipped with blue lights on the tube and spooky music.
I've never heard of this Gemmy product before, has anyone else? As you can see, it only runs about 30 seconds and then shuts off. I'm trying to figure out how to keep it running. I think it might be sound activated, I'm still experimenting with it. Any suggestions??

There is a witch in this too. My local grocery had one running last year.

I have one like that (it's black with a different face). They came out at before 2006, and they are actually pretty cool.
Mine is pretty sensitive and goes off perfectly for TOTs - it's a regular in our yard.
GREAT price on it!

i have a witch, a ghost, and one other but can't remember what it is now, they are sound activated and any little sound will trigger it, i have mine in the house and end up shutting it off otherwise it's constantly going.

I have one in a black costume with a "Ghostface" (From SCREAM) type head. He is sound activated also. I payed $24.95 for mine a couple years ago. Great find

Yes, it is sound activated. I hang mine near the path, and it goes off all night long.
I have this exact one, mine came from LTD Catalog, around $20 (an early Xmas gift from my beloved sister). I love it! I got mine in 2004, and my oldest son was 4 at the time, he was afraid of it at first. His younger brother loved it, though, still does!

Awesome find! Nice price, too! I love thrift stores. It's where most of my collectibles and Tales From the Crypt comics come from.
