I was so excited!! I bought a 6 foot reaper w/stand. His eyes light up and he says somethings(already unhooked the speaker because he said corny stuff). And a plastic type skeleton that is about 5 or 5 1/2 ft tall at a yard sale!!!

Paid $5 for the reaper and .50 for the skeleton!! The had a fog machine for $5 too.

Then I went to our local store that is kinda of a salvage type store. Got a mummy/skeleton like guy that has a long white dress thing on, there are lights in the gown and his eyes light up. I paid $15 for him. I would have liked for him to be cheaper but he was from target and the box said $29.99.

I also got a smaller black grim reaper that has the pneumatic arm that makes it lay back on a grave then shoot upright. He is probably 3 ft tall or so. I paid $10 for him. I really liked him and was happy to find him, especially since the arm worked. I can't wait to play with him and scare the crap out of a cat or two! LOL

Anywhoo...I feel like I got some good deals. Once the kid gets home with the camera I will try to take some pics and see if you all think that I got good deals!

The skele/mummy thing is the one thing I have reservations about. I feel like I spent too much on him, but he was half price. IDK...I may have to light him up in the dark and see if I feel better about it. Even if I hate him I can take him back next week...they only give store credit but I know I can find $15 worth of stuff.

I really like the salvage place. It carries returns/over stocks/out of season stuff from Target, Kmart and a few other places. I usually get awesome deals there. I have bought tombstones that are the heavier not styrofoam type, large gargoyles, talking skulls, lighted signs, costumes, masks and all sorts of other stuff there. Normally I don't pay more than $5/6 for anything.

They told me last week they knew that I would be in to start buying Halloween stuff. Kinda felt like they knew I would be in and that Halloween stuff props anyway would be in demand so the prices are higher this year. (I go every Friday year round)
