I've been helping out with ideas for the local Haunted Attraction that I was an actor with last year. They have already renamed 2 of the 3 attractions to my suggestions and I have been given creative control over the haunted hayride. I've written the story that is going to tie all the hayride scenes together and we'll be sitting down next to start planning the stages. I've also designed a few new props, rooms and characters and wrote a new radio spot. We really want to make the place different than what it's been in the past so we can get people excited to come. I would rather be doing this all day, everyday.

How cool! It's awesome to get to do something that you love. And I bet the people coming to see it will be able to tell it was done by someone who enjoys the season, it always shows when a true haunter has come up with the ideas!

The hayride scenes used to be kind of a hodge-podge of different things. I'm doing an old west/zombie town and have to incorporate a 20' tall demon into the script. The story is pretty cool. We are actually hiring actors this week so won't be too much longer.

Had open auditions last night for the hayride, lot of new faces. Sat down with the owner, the site manager, and the actors from the hayride and discussed the new ideas for the ride. Lot of great ideas thrown around. We also discussed some of the new props i want to make, and a few new rooms. Also I'm going to be the guy in the monster costume I just fixed up, along with 3 other characters that will be interacting with the people while they are waiting to enter the maze. He also liked my radio spot and will be giving to the people that will be recording the ad, today. I am so psyched up.
