Hate to sound cynical but IMO, Michaels is a dud this year, just as they were last year. Nothing really unique. A lot of the same old same old; stuff they've carried for the past few years. I've been there twice and have scratched them off the list of places to go for this year. Hoping Walmart and Kmart have a better showing as well. They were terrible last year too.

Wal mart is definitely amping up for this year. Check it out online too. They have major online only items already that compare to a lot of the bigger Halloween only stores for way better prices. I think the online only are generally based on the scare factor just at first glance. If only the budget were larger.

    Meh.

Same old stuff. Great if you're into cheap-o foam skulls, folding spiders and the usual mini busts and wooden signs. Nothing new. I did enjoy looking at the village display though.

That is awesome...not sure if we got anything out here in Canada just yet....I know our Walmarts don't have a thing out...I always go to the back (where they keep the Halloween stuff normally) and check...still yard type stuff out...

I love Michaels, but they're just a little to expensive. I am going on Monday to get the Masquerade Skeleton (which is wonderful btw) but as for anything else, it can just stay on the shelves. My Michaels is set up the exact same way as in the photos above, only they have a little archway with the Masquerade Skeleton, and Greeter Witch.
