New to the forum and you guys are freakin' amazing! But I digress...

I have been looking high and low and waiting with baited breath for the shops to begin laying out the goods. Went to Big Lots (loooove the prices) yesterday and while there were a few things displayed, what caught my attention was a HUGE stack of cardboard boxes in the middle of the department. The labels ooohhhh the labels... all kinds of things that were off limits to me I wanted to latch onto the first clerk that walked by and scream "Let them bones outta the boxes!!!" I was too skered to open them up and freely browse. No, I'll have to patiently wait....

    But soon, my pretty

I would have gone there and laid my money down just to watch that.

I had the same problem at Dollar Tree yesterday. I swore that I would not go back today. That was the first place I went! At least I won't have to go back now, I bought everything I could have possibly wanted, just so I can avoid it the rest of the season. Big Lots...now that's another story...I have to go to the "good" one tomorrow, and haunt them till they are fully stocked.

Yeah I had the almost uncontrollable urge to rip open the fresh boxes of Halloween goodies at the Dollar General store today.

The Spirit store just opened here and they weren't exactly all set up when i stopped in yesterday. I was walking around the STACKS and STACKS of boxes reading the labels on EVERY one just hoping a clerk would come over with a box cutter, rip it open and announce the contents of it to the store....but i digress that didn't happen.....Just means I have to go back 100 more times!
    Is it halloween yet?

Too funny! Lol! I actually have done that and went in the back "Employees only" areas to check. I too needed to see if any new props were hidden from public viewing...
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..
