Thread: Big Lots Has Begun!

I was upset upon walking through my local Big Lots Saturday and seeing the same "cute" decor in the same row. I began to think they weren't getting the good stuff out! (Only August, of course!...)

But, as we were going to check out, there was one end cap, and that led into one small row of LOTS of stuff! From the chiropractor sign Spirit sells to giant skulls, they had a lot crammed in, and I'm sure they'll be getting more!

I didn't have a camera, but they had:

Changing portraits
Good-looking, medium tombstones; some with changing portraits on them
Rubber/furry bats
Giant skulls
Scene setters with sound and lights
Webs
Large, hanging creatures (pumpkin and strange monster - both not very good-looking, but that can be changed!)
Small bride and groom (they've shrunk for the past three years... )

Any small halloween candle lanterns for tealights?

They had some nice ones last year, but I forgot to grab some.

I scored some purple 4" light up trees that will look so good in my graveyard! Big LOTS! is starting to pack them in and this was 2 weeks ago!!!

.By anychance do you know if they have those big black rats this year? My dog chewed one up last week so I'm in urgent need to find one for cheap.

They do have colored lanterns for tealights in orange and purple, but they are about five inches high, if that's what you're looking for!

My Big Lots doesn't have any big black rubber rats....yet.... I've always wanted to get a couple, but they are very expensive!

Does Big Lots have any battery operated lights this year? Thanks

They had some battery operated individual JOLs to go down the sidewalk.

Dollar Tree also has some of the battery operated lanterns. I don't know what style you need, but you can't beat the price.
