Last year, I was in a Halloween store just looking around when I overheard a family on the other aisle, presumably grandparents and two little kids. The little boy (about 4) is going through a barrel of severed limbs and trying to talk grand dad into buying some. His argument was, "but you can never have too many body parts!".

Your teenage daughters ask you to take them to the halloween store that just opened. Then text you every 5 min and send you pics about stuff they think you need for your haunt this year because you couldn't go, but you DW took them.

You have two kids whose birthdays are Oct 28th & 29th (3 years apart and NOT planned that way) and they ask to go to every haunted house in the area for their birthday. (Our record is four in one night but now that one is away at college it's not too likely to get broken.)

When I was 8, I made a pipe organ out of a cardboard box ...Hang some masks in the hall and played organ music on the record player.....If that isn't a haunter in the making then I don't know what is....ZR

When you are 5 years old, out trick-or-treating with your parents, and you look down the street and exclaim "I want to go to that house!" only to find that it's YOUR house. True story. My son did this a few years back. Made my day!

when you 7 year old aughter says mom can you make a little coffin for me to get in and scare people lol. my nephew was in my full sized one last year ha ha
