Its your house, put them up whenever you want.

But if your asking me, anytime before October is too early. Maybe the first weekend before October is alright, but anything before that will come off as tacky.

We started inside...so far just partial spooytown (carnival, I'm going to set up a certain set each year and thats the theme, also waiting on a few things to come in ). We also have a table cloth and we are currently looking for some new decorations. Personally I'd leave my stuff up year round! But sadly not all people in my family are like me.

A family riding their bike past my house today and saw lumber in the driveway. They asked me if I am starting Halloween and started cheering me on when they found out I had begun today.

Johan isnt that a great feeling...
I am torn I know its to soon, but when it comes off as a challange it makes it alittle harder not to start !

But it could just be me on the challanging thing and just an excuse to start early. hmmm

But I think inside is okay during September! I would say the weekend before October or few days before- either that or first week of October!

I set out my yard the first weekend in Oct. But have left a few items up all year in the past to antagonize a neighbor.
