Last year my dog walked by my animated wild witch prop and it went off scaring him. He then attacked the dang thing and tore it up lol nothing that cant be fixed thou gotta replace some wiring and her clothes lol it was pretty funny at the time it happened.

When my cats were kittens they chewed though the wires for several of my props. The wires were bundled at the time so I ended up with a bunch of 8" pieces of twisted pair.
    Undead and loving it!

Lol I always have dogs leaving their mark on my Halloween props in the front yard just to let me know they were there.

Not really destroy, but my cat used to like to rest on, and rub up against a lot of my props. Then, everything would get COVERED in white cat hairs. What a pain to get them off! But, I couldn't be mad at him, being a cute cat and all My furry friend passed away last October. It was a depressing Halloween

He hung out here all October before we had to get him put down. He loved the orange lights, and would sleep by them every night. He had cancer

I'm so sorry about your cat.

My cat decided to relieve himself on a big pile of my black fabric, a few years ago.

Not a prop, but I had a cat decide to pull one of my horror dolls (Little Apple Dolls) into the litterbox once! Luckily I was able to clean it...
I have also had pets knock Halloween items off my mantle or out of the window, but no damage done. I encourage the cats to hang out in the window with the display because I think it adds to the decor! In other words, I guess you could say it is using a pet AS a prop hehe...
Especially my solid black gold-eyed polydactyl Maine Coon. Who happens to have been born on October 30th.

I've never had a pet destroy anything, but I do have a kitty who has a fascination with cuddling up on the Crypt Keeper!

Not yet, but one kitten seems to like the mache pumpkin that I've started. I've gotten as far as putting the 2 halves together w/tape so it's got holes at the top & a big one at the bottom & Augie seems to think that's a great place to hang.

If someone had intentionally made that as a cat house, they wouldn't get near it, but since it's just something lying around it's a great cat toy.

The seem to enjoy the dollar store crows & dolls I got. I guess cause they can get their claws into them.

Right now I've got 2 big lengths of brown craft paper that was used as packaging for something we ordered online & the kittens LOVE it. Augie also loves the bag the new mattress pad came in & the shoe boxes of the new shoes I got today.

Cat toy manufacturers & us cat owned have got it all wrong, cats don't want kewt kitteh bags or fluffy round beds that look like Garfield or moving toys, they want paper & plastic bags, cardboard boxes & shoelaces.
