I was just looking through them, funny, a lot of people are selling for exorbitant prices what look like the same tombstones I got at Dollar Tree for $1 each. I'm not at home to look right now but I'd swear they were the same ones, and they're charging up to $30 for them!

I've seen some on Ebay UK and they're small cheap ones sold at ridiculous prices.

    like this one for example

I have bought all mine, I haven't attempted making one yet...what I usually do is repaint them to age them up. If anybody had a knack for making these they could sell them at a reasonable price and still make a decent profit. I think one of a kind stones would attract a lot of bidders.

This will be my first year making them, and I'm excited to write my own funny epitaphs and carve them out of styrofoam. I have a very long yard, and the thought of buying them at the prices they go for would have eaten my candy budget, and then the kids would rage. Hm.

That's a good point, halloween_sucks... I'll see how good I am at it - maybe there's a side biz in there somewhere! LOL!

I have that one, Michaels sold it. It was originally $25 I believe. It looks great at night with light shining on it.

Those ARE from the $1 store, Murtisha! Let's see...10 tombstones for $1 each = $10. Guess shipping must be $10, but they don't want to pay it themselves, so they added the cost in shipping to the price, and then they can claim shipping is "free". How disappointing.

No offence I was saying it was awful, what I mean was for what it's made out of it's not worth that price. All your stuff seems much cheaper over there, if you paid the same it'd work out at around $46 for one tombstone.

You'd think they could throw in the two $1 crows along with the tombstone lot.

    Just like the stones say: R I P --as in RIP-OFF !!

I sent a message to the person who is selling the dollar tree tombstones for $30.00. I told them it was a rip off, that there are several dollar trees available around the us and that the tombstones don't even look realistic in person. I just don't want anyone to fall for that stupied ad.
halloween is a super cool holiday.
