    I'm behind the times...I have an AT&T cell phone, very basic package. I'm amazed at the quality of all these Halloween pictures online. Can anyone give me tips on either what they're using to enhance them, or what models take such great pictures? Or are some of these from regular cameras? I would like to start posting pictures myself from home of decorations and such. I save pics on my phone, but that's it so far. Any advice is appreciated.

    Paul.

    I'd agree the quality of the picture differs greatly from phone to phone. If you see some that you like, maybe send a private message to the forum member & ask them about it.

    Mine phone takes pretty mediocre pics (This a recent example taken at a TJ Maxx store):

    I have a basic Virgin Mobile phone, and it has the option of sending to eMail; I do that, & then rightclick & save to my computer. I know others that have the option of uploading directly to Facebook, etc.

    I don't know if that helps, but you can upload any Halloween pictures to your account here on the forum and create an album like this:

    Go to User Control Panel (click on "User/CP" at top of page);
    Click on "Pictures & Albums" under Networking on the menu at the left margin;
    Click on "Add Album" (bottom left of page);
    It will provide a upload screen on which a "Browse" button will appear - this allows you to go into your computer & find pictures you want to upload.

    Hope this helps - good luck!

    My father has a passion for photography and he's always getting a new camera and passing the old one to me (lucky me!). I'm now up to a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H9. That's what I've been taking pictures with.

    But,

    Because it takes such big pictures, I have to Photoshop it down to 800 pixels wide. If I don't, the uploading software here at HalloweenForum gives me an error message. So, the original picture quality is much better than what you can see here.

    This is an example of the picture quality of the shots (reduced to that 800 pixels):

    So, my advice to you is to get a nice camera but not a mega pixel one like mine (8.1 megapixel). You'd just have to reduce the size anyway.
