This is very unfortunate but I've been working on Halloween 2010 since November last year and it may be dead in the water. My job schedule and location may be changing, which means my vacation for the last 2 weeks of October won't happen and I will probably not have Halloween off work. I might have to put my stuff back on the shelf and wait till next year, but in exchange I cut my commute to work by 1 hour 10 minutes and save about $300 a month in gas.....gotta prioritize I guess, but I'm still bummed. Keep your fingers crossed for me, hopefully this transfer will go through AFTER Halloween!

Hallow v_h!!
Congrats on the job change that will save $$$ and that precious commodity -- time!
I think you should treat yourself to a Halloween off this time around -- and enjoy somebody else's party and haunt. In fact -- this year -- make it your mission to just visit as many other haunts as you can!! Think of it as a scientific experiment to collect data, ideas, take pics and in general get SUPER ready for next year!!
I'm jealous!! Now you can do what I always wished I could do - just sit back and relax this time around!!
Besides - just think of how far AHEAD you are for 2011!!

I'm staying positive because nothing too bad can come out of this, it's just all the work I've already put in would have to get stored away and not used for another year, but oh well.

I agree with Terror Tom or stage an emergency like your cat got stuck in a tree. It worked for me when I wanted a day off.
