What do you figure on spending this year for Halloween; Include store bought things, candy, pumpkins, materials for homemade props, etc... Be realistic and let's see what our "collective" budget will be.

$600-800, depending on what I see in store bought things. I am putting aside $300 for Homemade, and Pumpkins will probably cost about $100, then I put in an extra $200-400 for Lifesize and ect. Store bought items! Seeing I don't have much of a collection of props for outside yet, that is my main goal for this year.

I am not keeping track for a reason but I know I have spent over $500 and I the only prop I bought was a bucky back in the spring. Other than that I have not bought a single prop. It has all been supplies for projects. I am trying to set aside a little bit to actually buy some props. I would love to have some left over for the after Halloween sales but I might be a tad optimistic.
We dont need a body bag, we need a bucket.............and a strainer.

Well, so far we have spent $850.00 on stuff from craigs list, then buying another prop (hopefully) for $125, we have spent $130 on supplies, $50 on jars for the candy buffet, $10. on candy corn......have not figured in costumes for this year, food for the party, candy buffet candy, drinks, blue led lighting, invitations,....whatever we see at the local stores this year and the half off Halloween Sales....
mmmm....looks like it will be an expensive year. We usually spend about $1000.00-$1500.00 per Halloween, and really try and clean up with the sales for the next year. I spent a good amount last year stocking up on 75% off sales for handouts for the kids...stickers, tattos, pencils, puzzles, etc...
    So, a lot!

I try to keep it to $100 a month ...I keep going over budget each month this year so I may have to rethink having a new theme each year. (Do birthday presents count lol? If so I'm in big trouble)
