While the Spooky Town villages are cute they are just now my personal type. Does anyone know of any other villages that are more sersious tone...i.e. Dark Shadows, graveyard, crypts, haunted mansions, cliffs, etc. etc. any ideas?
thanks,
Todd

There have been afew items put out by Lemax and Dept. 56 that could be used for this type of theme. Both companies also offer various tombstone sets and wrought iron fence sections. More creepy styled dead trees. Heres just a couple examples right off the top of my head.

Something else you can look for as well, the Christmas villages offer some nice landscape/accessory pieces like Victorian styled lamp posts. Ive used them in the past and fit in perfectly with Halloween village pieces. Ive also used snow covered stone fences and repainted the snow green for a moss look. Possibilities are almost endless, especially if you want to create your own look for you village scene. You should browse through both th Lemax and Dept. 56 stuff online to see if theres anything that cathces your eye.
Hawthorne Village could be another outlet for pieces. Also check any local craft or hobby stores at Halloween time. Sometimes they get in non brand tabletop items.“Do you know the terror of he who falls asleep? To the very toes he is terrified, because the ground gives way under him, and the dream begins.”
