Thought I'd bring this up from last year. It's an older You tube vid of some great kid scares on Halloween. This guy has it going on!

Basic, primitive, even, but effective. Just shows, ya doesn't has ta go all extravagant to scare the kids. But I like extravagant.

I love the girl at 1:45 in that says to her friend "you got my back?"
Shows what you can do with a front porch. Turn out the lights when the bell rings, and have the banging coffin lid. I would have loved to see that kind of stuff when we were kids TOT'ing.

A favorite of mine as well.
Any ideas on the doorbell setup that plays the different sounds?
I would like to use a static video camera to document some scares like these. In the past I've had someone in the yard with the camera and it didn't turn out too well. Either too dark, shot too far away, low sound, etc. Any advice on setting up a camera to capture these moments?

Last year I used two Flip Video camcorders. Just hug them up in two spots and just let 'em run (2 hour capacity). Just make sure they're hanging close enough to catch audio and it's pointed at something that's lit. They were still a bit dark but uploaded the video files into Adobe Premiere and tweaked it to be visible.

This video is so funny. When I watched it the first time I forgot to turn the sound on. It was hilarious my favorite is the kid from 2:56. He is scared but he still keeps that candy bag wide open.

I love that video every time I see it. A classic!
I think I'll do the same thing as that guy when I get too old and feeble to set up my yard display.
