It was late the other night when I was perusing the spirit site and I clicked on the fright squad which had a pretty cool cemetery entrance colomn thing and fence made of cardboard, like the tree forest they had last year....I went to check it out the next day and it wasn't there anymore....I just checked again and not only is it gone but there are other items missing too....I don't understand why cardboard is so expensive - $150 for the entrance and $100 for 5 panels of fence!....Really?...For cardboard?....At the same time, it would work perfect for my indoor haunt....I'd like to look at it again but it's not there....Could you please put it back?...In the mean time can someone find me a discount?.......ZR

I have been having the same problem at kmart.com.
I will see something one day and the next day it's gone.It will show up again only to disappear again.
I don't know if they aren't sure if they are going to have it to sell or what is going on.
That is to pricey for cardboard I will have to checki t out when it's put back up.

I had the same problem with Spirit. About a week ago I was looking at the two $35 grave keeper props. I was planning on buying them once they have a free shipping offer. I look today and it says out of stock. I'm hoping they will get more, cause they would complete my whole yard haunt.

As for the cardboard set up, they were selling them at the Spirit store last year on the Nov 1st 50% off sale. I forgot how much, but it was cheap, alot cheaper than 150$. I was going to buy the set but I wouldn't have anywhere to store it.

ZombieRaider, I noticed that too. But I also notice that those things normally show up at a later date.

I saw those too! It is my guess that those things will be available.

The Spirit site has always been whacky as far as I can tell. Things appear and disappear and reappear all the time. What I do is get an idea of of what I'd like to get and then get it at a spirit store near me. That way at least I save on shipping and Spirits shipping has always been quite high, imo. I can usually get another prop for what they charge for shipping alone for one prop. I've shipped plenty of large and heavy boxes and it's never approached the amounts they want- sometimes up to 30 bucks. Come on man. I always wait for their half price sale, in which they also half price the shipping too. If you can half price shipping, what does that tell you?! It's their half price shipping that's a normal amount!

Ya, there shipping is really high. Unfortunatly some stuff is online exculsive. So I just wait until a free shipping sale, which they usually have in September. I got screwed though last year buying some last minute props a week before Halloween. The props cost $170 total, but shipping was like $30-$40 dollars. I could have bought some nice stuff with that, like you said.

Yep. That is the thing. They have exclusive props that sell out quickly. So if you want certain ones, you have to order them from the site before they sell out.
Even stuff like Zombie Babies sold out super fast last year.

    Dr.Ghoul,
I thought I would give you a heads up. Those grave keepers are meant as table top props.I should have knowen something that detalied would be a lifesize prop for only $35.00 bucks.
halloween is a super cool holiday.

I know that they are only 3 feet tall, but I think they might still work outside in my haunt. Have you purchased them or seen them? If they really are that small I may consider buying the life size grave digger that is new this year. Thank you though for the heads up. The other thing I hate about Spirit is their no refunds policy...

Anyone recall when Spirit/ Spencers issues those 50% or whatever they are coupons ? I'm thinking of waiting for them to buy from my local store but I'm concerned they won't show up til I have already started the haunt , which is the last weekend in Sept.
