So I was out in the back garden earlier planning my Hallowe'en set-up. I'm thinking that I'll have PPL enter in the back way, because I have no garden out front. I noticed something. The back of the house has a one-story extension where the kitchen is. Above this is a one-story flat roof which can be easily accessed from the study window, which opens all the way.
WHAT CAN I PUT ON IT?!! I'm really excited but coming up short with ideas! I really want to utilise this space to add 'wow' factor to my haunt.

Maybe a Giant blow up? Like a spider or pumpkin.
halloween is a super cool holiday.

Got a pic of the space?
Is it too high for someone to jump off? I would think a maniac jumping off the roof would freak some people out

BTW: so as not to put a whole in the roof, you might want to set pallets up there and screw or tie off your props to them.

I have an add-on at the side of my house with a flat roof, I put a 11' gallows across it. Enough room to hang 4 bluckys, scares the sh*t out of the kids when the wind picks up!

maybe some faux flames and a smoke machine so the roof looks as if it is on fire with a demon/beast looking prop rising from the flames.. who knows but there is so much you can do with a flat roof as long as weight is not an issue. You wouldnt want to spring new leaks ya know...
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

of course there are the classic gargoyles, demons looking down at the "trespassers", climbing skeletons, big huge spider, grim reaper, jackolanterns...there is a plethora of ideas for it!!! Maybe a wicked jack in the box?

How about a bungee-powered suicidal maniac jumping off the roof that uses an automatic winch at the end of the cycle? Sheesh, a flat roof? The possibilities are endless? How about a dragon that looks like it's breaking up through it?
