At least for me, Shipyard's Pumkinhead Ale hit the shelves! I was looking for something to light a spark under my butt, and get me in the holiday mood, this did the trick. Many a late night in my shed, hot glue gun burns on my fingers, the smell solder in the air, and this brew in my hand getting ready for the big day. Ahhh, the most wonderful time of the year...

Thanks for the reminder - I'll have to look for some this weekend. We have a couple of different pumpkin ales around here that I like but I don't think we get that particular one. Looks cool though. I'd buy it just for the bottles!

    I'm intrigued.

I've never tried any of those seasonal brews before - guess I should start! I need to polish off the 4 bottles of wine that are taking up space in the frig first!

It may be mostly a New England thing, it's brewed up in Maine, not sure how far they ship it out, but it's the only pumpkin ale I really like, not overpowering, just a hint in the background. It's totally Halloween in a bottle for me.

    Sounds awesome.

They do a few odd ales here around October but nothing pumpkin flavored. Mainly witch/goblin orientated.

I have had a similar ale from a World Market store in our local mall. It was however a one time deal as I cant see myself buying it again... eww! But that was y personal opinion as it could taste great to another! Bottoms up! Cheers!
