if you're wanting a chucky doll, you can get one at Spencers for less than $70.

There's a ton on Ebay but they're really expensive. I guess they were a limited run & aren't available at retail anymore.

The problem with the Spencers dolls is that they dont look very good.

But Chucky dolls aren't the same thing as a Good Guy doll. The Good Guy dolls are bit like the My Buddy dolls from the 90s. One of 'em became Chucky.
I had no idea they even made 'em until I checked ebay for this thread. I'm surprised it took them so long to capitalize on it.Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

My now 28 year old son had a real "my buddy doll" when he was little. He never went anywhere without it, named it Eddie (Van Halen) and wanted to be dressed like it all the time. Right down to the pjs.
Somewhere over the years he decided he was too old for it. He later remarked that he wished he'd never gotten rid of it.
Enter one obsessed mom and ebay. At one point I had well over a dozen of the darn things. Some were "Chuckified", some were left as is. They were a huge hit with the TOTs. Not so much with my grown son!
I still have a few of them - my son doesn't want them left to him in my will. I just couldn't part with them - they need someone who'll appreciate them for the creep factor, not the "oh it's cute" factor.
If anyone wants one, and wants to pay for shipping (keeping in mind that I'm in northwest BC Canada) I'd be happy to part with them. No cost 'cept shipping.
They've all been re-stuffed to make them machine washable - but I used tie-wraps to hold the heads on - sharp ends so not suitable for kids.
