I know there have been several threads about whether it is appropriate to hang a dummy for Halloween. I have no issue with hanging a dummy, but here is a CNN video about the stir it caused. Seems people were more concerned that it was a real person, and not so concerned that it was a racist message.

I do agree, I would put up a sign giving more info about being about a haunt. Still, it;s publicity!

I have always done it in these parts and had no problem yet. But everyone here locally know I do these things at my haunt every single year. No surprises ya know..
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

People are so bizarre. I'm going to call the police because it is Halloween time, and there is a fake dummy hanging in a tree.. What?! Some people need to get a life!
Something like that probably wouldn't cause any trouble here! They did a good job making it look realistic, though!
