Thread: Goblins n Football!

Well, my son hits Sr high this year (sophomore) and he plays football - wide receiver. I'm in Arkansas, and in my town, football is GOD. That movie Friday Night Lights, is exactly how it is here for us!! And I must admit, I'm a football (and soccer) fanatic!!

Anyway, I'm really excited, and joined the booster club. I signed up for one of the football games - to be the locker room decorator! AND, with YOU GUYS in mind, I picked the one right before Halloween, when we play the GOBLINS! LOL How perfect is that??! With my yearly kids party, I think everyone knew it was only natural that I'd have that game! LOL

So now I'm starting to think on it some....my first thoughts are really lame....Gobble the Goblins....Spook the Goblins....Then like I'm having a brain ppbbbbbtttt. Coach said we can only hang/magnet one thing to each locker door, and do a table spread with healthy snacks, etc. He doesn't want us to go "Crazy" and distract from the game.

Any ideas would be SO SO greatly appreciated!!! Cuz for some reason, now that I'm thinking about it, I'm hitting a mental brick wall.

Dude i wish our team was teh Goblins when i was in HS thats awesome... Make a paper machie Goblin for them to DESTROY!!! DESTRUCTION and Victory go hand in hand you know.

great idea.....and fill it with carrot sticks and broccoli....it would be so much better if you didn't have to use healthy snacks

Hmmm, those are some good ideas!!

Wanna know what really is just SO stupid to me? I was told, that the State has "outlawed" certain words. Such as "Kill" the Goblins...or "Murder" the Goblins...or "Beat" the Goblins. Nothing that suggestions actual physical violence.

Also, it's against state law of some sort, to have "unhealthy" snacks made available on school campus. SO...it's gotta be fruit, beef jerky, nuts, gum, etc....

Geez. Someone save me from the state of political correctness this nation has fallen into.

Girl - You need to pack up and move here to California. This is definitely a no holds barred state. LOL

Anyway, if ya can't beat the goblins what can you do to them? Hug? nope that'll offend someone. Shake hands? Nope, flu season. Sing kumbaya with the Goblins? Nope, that mentions the Lord and probably crosses that Church and State seperation.

I can't think of anything that you can do with Goblins that's polittically correct. Good Luck!

I wish someone here *hint hint* who might be a whiz at photoshop, could take a Bulldog and put a Goblin in its mouth. *ahem* Bulldog colors are gray and navy, and goblin colors are gold and purple.

Who was it that had the great invites...the Ouji board one? He's amazing with that stuff!!

I think if I had beef jerky, I could label it as Goblin Meat...or Goblin Jerky. Maybe??
