The Halloween Bootique is open for business here in Utah. Lots and lots of costumes, not that big of a prop selection.

Wow. These seasonal shops seem to be opening early this year. We usually dont get ours till the middle of September at the earliest.

I hope ours open earlier this year, it seems last year it was pretty late. You're so lucky!

Ooh I'm jealous. There really should be more "Halloween" stores open year-round. There are a number of people who are looking for things all year... Really, if dollar stores can exist with such discounts, even slashing prices in 1/2 during the non-Halloween months should still turn a profit. Anyone feeling ambitious?

I'm with you on that, mysterymaiden. It gets frustrating having nowhere to go for the majority of the year...

Year round would work if you add wiper motors and hydraulics to your inventory....and chicken wire, and sheetrock mud and 2" foam and the other stuff haunters need to build props. Heck, you could offer classes on prop building too.

There is a theater costume shop near here that you can rent costumes for a number of things but when I dropped past the other day I noticed that they had more Halloweenie style costumes on their mannequins.
