Thread: Halloween thieves!

I just realized my ax murderer gnome we worked on last Halloween is gone! He had been on the stairs since Halloween but I just realized yesterday he wasn't there. I thought maybe I had moved him into the garage when I swept the stairs or something, but he isn't there. I'm pretty sure someone must have taken him. Have you had anything taken before? This is our first theft. I'm thinking we have to secure things better this year. Sigh.

uld joke that maybe he wanting a change of scenery, he is a garden gnome, they like to move about. But I would say he probably was theived. Im so sorry he was gnomeknapped Is there any chance to get a twin and work on it again?

I hate thieves. I had some plastic skulls stolen last year. The year before they stole my lawnmower that I had put the fake legs under. Don't really understand why people do that.

One year I had everything stolen. I think it was the first year we lived here. The funny part is, we just had cheap decorations that year. Light up pumpkin, paper lanterns etc. Since then we've had much more elaborate decorations and nothing has been touched. (Knock on wood!) I do bring the important things in after TOTing on Halloween night though. To much opportunity for mischief on that night!

I can't even imagine the amount of bad karma the theif is going to endure until the gnome is returned. Stealing an axe murdering garden gnome is right up there with taking baby Jesus out of the manger or defacing a national monument. I wouldn't want to be near when the yang comes around for that yin.

You may soon get vacation photos of him so there's still hope.

Haven't had anything stolen yet, but I fully expect it to happen sooner than later.
Maybe it's a prank and he will show back up somewhere, with some photos of his travels?

The only thing I have had stolen was a pumpkin mask the first year of my display. Although I had bought it at a yard sale for a couple of bucks it still made me mad to think someone would steal it. Oh, and last year the false hand hanging out of the trunk of the car had gone
