Congrats! But, no, you're not the first (and surely not the last) to do a Halloween-themed wedding. I did, as did a bunch of people here. Do a search for it here & a ton of stuff will come up.

Congrats! I can only hope the wedding isn't ON halloween though. Doing that can aggravate the heck out of haunters.

I was married on Halloween, it was a lot of fun

As for your wedding, you said it was at a haunted house? Do your decor around the story of why it is haunted. Are you wanting it "glitsy"? What colours are you wanting? Is the wedding going to be inside or outside? I know you said you have to decorate the grounds, but if the guests are going to be inside the whole time then all you need to focus on is the walk up and any views from there. There are so many directions you can go, and if you do a search you will find a LOT of info and ideas!

I only wish I could have had a Halloween Wedding! I actually had the most interesting weddings though... The wife and I eloped in vegas back in april 1997. We actually had a "Drive-thru" wedding I kid you not! How funny was that! All my wife could do is laugh and I was the sentimental one... Go figure but it is what it is! Still married to the her so we did somethings right!
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..
