I like the look of a real and creepy cemetery, with little things placed here and there. A crow, maybe a spider, a shovel leaning as if someone was about to be or was burried resently. Maybe some ground fog... keep it eairy not with zobies jumping out and the like. Maybe a partially unearthed skeleton or casket would work.
I'm a firm believer that less is more so I try to keep mine with more of a feeling for the viewer to use their imagination. Not have something up and in their face.
My two cents. What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

I noticed you are from Chile, does your country celebrate Day of the Dead? You could make a dark and eerie day of the dead using dark purples, blacks and things instead of the traditional bright colors."We accommodate the living, but who shall accommodate the dead?"
"We say haunted, but we mean the house has gone insane."

There is soo much too add to a haunt or halloween themed yard. Its best to checkout the members photo albums and browse props section to get the best ideas. The best of luck to you!
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..
"The Many Faces of Fear!" New for 2012!

I have many candles.
You are wrong xD in mi country is all the contrary.... The society here are a big porcent dont aprove the halloween in all the concepts. In Chile halloween is just a party very secret for some people. The religion and many of the poblation dont like in all this stuffs.
My friends and I, celebrate with a sane vision of halloween. Many people on my neighboord enjoy the haunt. Although i do this for i like it and have a great time with my family and friends making the Projects. I am very young (15) but i have a spirit to the change the vision of the halloween in mi city
The day of Dead is celebrated in Mexico... very far away from me xDworking hard to change the chilean opinion! !anything is possible if your the deceased¡

I build a small cemetery, using foam insulation (its blue and 2 inches thick....)...I have a ghoul climbing out of the ground, and also make a large spiderweb....I use a fogger, and will build a Headless Horseman cutout as well, even though I'm out in the country and will have no trick or treaters here...

My son's godmother is from Ecuador so I understand the religious position of the community there in regards to Halloween as we celebrate it.
My wife is from the Philippines which is also a very catholic country. Some do somewhat put on a haunted house, but it's looked on more as a thrill ride. My wife didn't understand my obscession with it, but she is coming around and accepting it.
