    Hey everyone!
So I'm trying to decide what would be fun to do this year for Halloween. I am 16 and this will be my first year not trick or treating
I want to hang out with my best friend and just want some of your opinions on things to do. We were thinking going to a party for a few hours, watching some good old Halloween classic movies, and making Halloween food

Any food ideas/recipes and movie recommendations would be great!!

Check out the Party Ideas and Recipes forums:

    There's tons of ideas!

If it's just the two of you, I would just make a few spooky snacks and you could each pick a a movie or two to watch throughout the night. You could also carve some jack-o-lanterns.

And since you're staying in this year, you could set up a small prank on your front porch to scare the trick-or-treaters.

Hey V_gan, I noticed you're dub'd a (carnivorous) Werewolf under your Membership ID. Lol, I just thought it was funny seeing this while reading this thread. Did you notice it? No worries as my daughter is a vegetarian slowing transitioning into a vegan as well! Healthy lifestyle in which I should consider leaning towards myself..

I like those recipes at the other thread you provided. Many great ideas!
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

Check out Food Network for the recipes from Alton Brown's Good Eats episode entitled Deep Space Slime. It's all about crazy neat jello molds...a brain molded panna cotta being the highlight for me.
