Do you allow cell phones in any haunted places, such haunted house, haunted attraction, haunted show, ghost tour, hayride, etc?
Would like to hear any problems.... negatives and positives on anybody that has a cell phone rule in the haunted industry.
Thanks in advance.![]()

It's a fairly standard policy that there's no video capable devices in a professional haunt.

Well mine is a home haunt with a walk thru to scare them all but we warn to place cell phones in pockets due to possibilities of dropping while getting spooked. If they drop on the floor while being startled it can be damaged in the fall and could be stepped on. Never had any issues to date but there is always a first...
Play it safe & place a clear visable sign stating: "Enter at your own risk!" and "Owner is NOT responsible for ANYTHING in any way shape or legal form as your are now advised in advance."
This should keep you safe from the shady characters out there looking for a quick buck scheme! Good luck with your haunt!A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..
