Thread: Anyone feel Halloween spirit?

I could feel a warmth flowing through my body and I could feel Halloween has become a night of rollicking fun, superstitious spells, and eerie games which people take only half seriously, its beginning were quite otherwise.

I am basically a Dummy. They took a human skin form then filled it with the Halloween spirit, and I was born. Yes i always feel the Halloween spirit.

I felt a warmth through my body too....then I figured out it was sunburn from yesterday's bike ride.....

I guess I feel the spirit cuz I'm going to Vegas this weekend and I expect the highlight to be going to Halloween Mart

I'm getting it a little bit now. I love to talk (and think about, and plan for) H'ween all year long, but come August-ish, I begin to get that "It's coming!" feeling.

I have not stopped feeling it! Everywhere I go or when out and about, I constantly think to myself "That can be used for halloween in some way or another..."

I wasn't feeling it at all this year, almost said screw it...but got to work on some stuff and now I'm in the groove. It's amazing what the smell of spray paint and frehly cut wood does for me

Oh yea!! I am absolutely in the spirit! I belong to a non halloween forum and thought "is it too early to start the halloween thread yet?"

If is tart it before august i get way too many of those 'why are you thinking about halloween now??? ' responses. LOL

those are the same ones who come in there and ask for instructions to make a transformer costume a week before oct 31

I hear that TD. It's been ghastly hot and humid, so much as to keep me out of the workshop. However.....the heat spell has broken and the humidity is moving out. As August approaches
the juices get flowing again. Already seeing the "back to school" ads in the paper, which means fall and Halloween can't be far behind.
If anything, the past few days have seen a slight blip on the monitor of my H'ween Spirit meter. I did manage to get three new tombstones cut and routed, hoping to paint this week. I've sketched out some plans for a new scene, and a co worker asked me if we were still putting up the haunt this year so there is some life being breathed into this corpse. I think in a couple more weeks, it will start to sink in and work will begin in earnest.
