I know there's been a few threads like this, but I need some input. This year I doing some big changes and want to name it. It's only a house, but we're pretty known around here (mainly as "the Halloween House"). One name that I keep coming back to is Grahamsville Manor. Grahamsville is a pioneer village from 1850 that was about 3 miles from my house. Nothing is left of it except a cemetery. I thought it'd be cool to incorparate a touch of real history in it.

    I think that sounds perfect.

I always loved the old Batman series when they flashed to Bruce Wayne's house and the voice over guy would say: "Meanwhile, at stately Wayne Manor". I think if you use a word to describe your "manor" it may help.

One that comes to mind would be "Ghastly Grahamsville Manor". or "Ghostly Grahamsville Manor".

    Good luck, Marc V.

Another vote for the "manor" name. That's just what we did last year with our home haunt. A play on the spelling of our City, Erie.

I also like the Manor name. Sounds mysterious! I would have a hard time naming my place - our last name is Love! So we call our house the Love Shaque. Not exactly Halloween-y!

I concur and am joining in on the cliche. We live on the corner of Bellcroft and Elsbury and are bickering about calling ours either Hellcroft Manor or Hellsburied Gardens.
