I registered my son for school yesterday and they had sign up sheets out for parents to volunteer to work the Halloween Festival this yr. I was so excited to see we're having a halloween festival! AND the fact that they actually called it Halloween and not "Fall" makes it even better! Was just a nice thing to see...took me back to when I was a kid. We always had Halloween carnivals at school.

Cool! That would bring back alot of memories for me too! Maybe I should suggest we do that at our school system, but I doubt if many parents would be interested in it around here

Good to see that there are still some places that celebrate "Halloween". Our school districts started the "Fall" festivals about 4 years ago.

Hopefully you signed up to volunteer! I love the fact that it's still called a Halloween Festival too.

I heard it's time for some pre-Halloween festivities around everywhere!

Wow, that is great! I am shocked that they are giving this festival a "Halloween" titled event.. Around my area they do not use the phrase "Halloween" as they say many parents have an issue(religous and moral, LOL!) against having a halloween function take place in a public school. I say "BOOOO" to all of those rallying against us and halloween! This is supposedly a free country right? Either way we must evolve as a society and not set up such rediculas political red tape...
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

LOVE IT!!! I love that they still call it HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL!!!
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!

super cool, i work for a school and we don't even have fall festivals anymore, they moved those to the spring, and i've had issues being able to wear a "costume", last year i went as spaghetti on the last day of school before the halloween weekend just cause i didn't believe there were any religious ties to spaghetti. trying to figure out what i can be this year.
