Well, I don't really do a haunt per say, but I do throw an awesome party each year, and I go all out. I'm looking to do a sign like TK421 did, so that everyone can easily spot my house on the street and know where to go. (Last year we had a few random people waltz in the front door thinking it was a party down the street, so I'd like an obvious moniker.)

Sooo, I need a name. I live on Chelsea Circle. The name of the subdivision is Chelsea Crossing. The only other street in the subdivision is Ike Lane. (No joke, the neighborhood is only about 30 - 40 houses or so... Makes for very few TOTers. We were shoving handfuls of candy out last year, since I had over-prepared.)

We live in Selma, which is sort of spooky, but I find it harder to tie in the city name than the street name. My fiance and I aren't married yet, so I don't want to use a "family" name, and besides, neither of our names is very scary. I do have some interesting history with the last name Foxall (hence my screen name). My great-grandparents moved to the US from Germany near the Holocuast and WWII, and they felt that the last name Foxall sounded too German (I don't, but perhaps things were different back then) so they changed their name to the most white sounding name they could think of (Johnson). So I like the name Foxall for the historical meaning of it.

Other than that, I don't have anything to go off of. I live near a big open field. I live on the curve of the road, so I was thinking perhaps "The Bend at Chelsea Crossing" or something like that. Idk... Any ideas?

"The Bend at Chelsea Crossing", kinda sounds like a shopping mall....j/k
    some random ideas...
Foxall Cross, Foxall Manor, Hill, Castle, Tower, Cemetery ..etc
Your logo could have a rabid-looking fox chewing on something...
Or just blood dripping from its mouth.

Maybe tell us what kind of theme you are going for? Gory, cemetary, witches, etc. Or any little details about your party that you would like to stick out.

Ooo, I like those ideas. Chelsea's Nightmare is good, and the Circle of Death sounds fun too. Loove Foxall Manor, but I don't know if it sounds spooky. Hellsea Manor is cool too!

I don't do gorey, mainly because I don't have the budget to pull it off plausibly. So I tend to go for a more classy type event. I do dress up the outside of the house as a cemetary, or to reflect a theme. This year will be the first theme, and it's a pirate theme. However, I want to change the theme each year, so I want a name that will sound good on it's own.

I like the idea of making a logo with a rabid fox. That would be neat to use in a sign and on invitations each year... Hmm, now you've got my mind going!

If you are looking for generic...how about "The Crossing" . I think you could use this to depict humans turnig into zombies, or you could create a backstory for pirates lost at sea. It could represent a safe haven from vampires. the transformation of human to werewolf, or vampire, or an old abandoned church.
I also think it has a general spooky sound.
When storage is a concearn, put your monster props under the kids beds.

You guys are so awesome. I like The Crossing, but it seems a little bland. I think I'll go with Foxall Manor, and below it on the sign/logo I'll put "at The Crossing". Thank you all for your help!
