I will not be buying any Halloween items til 2012. I found a new home for Alohanani and I made a deal with my husband that if I didn't buy anything til then if I can buy this home for her. He agreed so tomorrow we will be picking up this home for her. It is 7' tall by 5' long by 2.5' deep. I get to pick it up this Saturday 7/17/2010

She will look so beautiful in it. She is 7' long

Wow, what a great new home for her!!!
as far as not buying new, just us what you have and maybe just change it up a bit, and make it "new" to you! Lots of great ideas here to make and change props with no money, or very little!
I have flying monkeys- and I'm not afraid to use them!

I think the dog looking in really makes the picture complete.

WOW! Who needs new props when you have something so out-of-the-ordinary beautiful? You could add a skull and plenty of hanging moss and you'd be set.

GoodNESS, that's only gonna set you back two seasons worth of props and decorations? How much do you spend on Halloween every year??!

Alohanani will be quite a happy girl.

Funny you say that, when I showed my daughter that was the 1st thing she told me.

yep it basically shows the size of this enclosure

I was thinking of adding something to the inside. A skull would do pretty good.

Well it was more of trying to talk my husband into getting it for me. It cost us $500.00 on craigs list. but it was more of do we really need it? its so big, and he didn't want the house to have that cluttered feel to it with it in here. So I had to find ways to get him to say yes plus I am suppose to be saving for my daughters wedding so we decided not to spend much on certain things this year and one was Halloween but now I have to keep my promise on not spending "anything" for exchange of getting this. I did just find out that my dad said he would pay 1/2 for her wedding so at that point we are ahead of the game. I'm really excited picking it up tomorrow and setting it up this weekend.

we found out this guy is a VP and designer engineer for Booths for Expo's and Big Companies. He custom made this. He was asking 600.00 I got him down to 500.00 he said he is moving to Seattle in 2 weeks and had to get it sold. He was very happy to know it was going to a snake. He housed an Iguana. I would of told my husband this would cover no Xmas gifts, Birthday gifts, Anniversary gifts for the next 5 years if I had too to get this enclosure.

My Hubby is the best, thats why he's my Hubby
