This is something that has just recently struck a chord with me. I really like the artistic take on the Halloween season in this style. Does anyone here collect? If you do, do you display your art all year or just hang it during the season?

I collect vintage looking halloween stuff but i find it hard to find actual folk art. Do you know where I can buy? I'd love to start a collection

Well, TheBurningLeaf.com just spotlighted an artists who is going to be having a show here in a couple of months.

I also did an ebay search and found some other atists who sell their stuff as either prints or the original paintings. I just did a "halloween art" search.

I love those paintings! That artist has done a great job. I paint whenever I get a chance (which isn't often) and have started to do some Halloween work.

Seems like a really cool site, is it mostly a forum like this or all art?

I know if you go to any calendar web site and look up primitive or folk art, they will have some good examples for the month of October. You can then Google the artist.
