We're getting close to Halloween and everyone is on the move to get their gear. Too bad things happen in that process that slows us down. Let me give you a few examples.

I look on Craigslist and find a garage sale that has a animated witch in it. Too bad it's going on when I have to work. I assume that whoever gets there first will end up buying it. Just for the heck of it, I e-mail if they still have any Halloween stuff left after the sale ends. No response. A week later, a pic of the display and a whole bunch of special effects items are on Craigslist again and being sold by the same owner for $75. I e-mail that I'll even give him a few dollars more if he'll hold it for me. No response again. Fast forward a month later. I check my e-mail and noticed one that is a response from the owner about having to deal with a funeral and now he's selling first come first served. This was two days ago. Argh!!!! I call him and he said he sold it already. Bummer.

Another one is when you inquire about a Craigslist post and you want to buy it ASAP, but they take it as coming in the middle of the night like a vampire.....

Thanks a lot Craigslist Killer!!!!! Ruined it for the rest of us.......

What are your bad hunting stories?
