Rarely do two of my loves coincide, in this case, Halloween, and bad movies, in the form of MST3K. Lo and behold, there is a plan that has been set in motion. The filming of the sequel to 'the worst movie ever' Manos:The Hands Of Fate.

No, no.
The worst movie ever made was "Zombie Nation".
In the name of God do not buy this movie, do not rent this movie, and certainly NEVER watch this movie. Just go to IMDB and read ALL the reviews. Trust me on this., PLEASE.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0463392/usercomments
From IMDB:
I wouldn't recommend Zombie Nation if you want to see a 'good' film, and neither would I recommend it as 'so bad its good'. However, if you are entertained by the prospect of watching probably the most indefensibly abysmal film ever – this is for you. Now, whenever anyone asks me what the worst film I have ever seen is, I will say Zombie Nation. This movie was not the B Horror movie that I had in mind. This was MUCH worse. I wanted a bad movie but what I got, I didn't know that crap like this existed amongst man. This movie seemed like a 5 year old wrote and directed it and that is being nice about it.Horrible acting, Bad story line, cheesy makeup, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. I have never seen a worse movie in my lifeIf you make the horrible mistake of seeing this "film", you'd wish you'd just taken a plastic fork, and ripped out your eyes instead. Yes, it's THAT bad. This movie was by far the worst movie that I have ever seen in my entire life. I'm not even kidding. It was poorly made and the actors couldn't act. It was a waste of my time and money.
And mind you, that's just a few of the reviews.
Sitting on a chair made of needles, while pulling off your own tongue with a pair of pliers, is better fun than watching this abomination. Please, just don't do it.
But I do love me some MST3K, but "Zombie Nation" is so bad, they couldn't make fun of it without serious vomiting.

That's fine Ter Ran, just as long as you have no intention of watching that film.
Now I know some people are going to think, "Deslock's just ranting. It can't be THAT bad".
Oh yes, oh yes it is....
If you are thinking about renting this or buying it. I will tell you the same thing that I would tell someone getting ready to commit suicide. "DON'T DO IT, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!" I really have nothing nice to say about this movie. DON'T DO IT!Why would a company release a DVD that the cover is so misleading? I feel like such an idiot for renting this movie based strictly on the box. As much as I explore IMDB I should have done a little research and made a list prior to visiting my local video rental store. I have no one to blame except myself. I want my money and time back.
DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE.
Even if curiosity is motivating you, stick cocktail umbrellas in your eyes instead. It will be much more enjoyable. You have been warned!.Argh, this movie was so bad it gave me brain diarrhea
I know a lot of people enjoy bad crappy monster movies. You will NOT enjoy this one. The very reason I made this post, was to spare any fellow humanity the utter mistake of subjecting themselves to this much pain, horror, and outright despair. This movie should be shown as punishment in some third world countries in their prisons. They would beg for their very lives to be released from the agony.
And no, I'm NOT joking.

Admittedly, I haven't seen the Zombie Nation flick, but I have actually sat through Manos and it was hands down, one of the worst, most brain bleed inducing films I'd ever seen. AND many, many professional publications agreed that this was the worst film ever made.
Using IMDB's rating system - Zombie Nation got 1.6 stars and Manos was still worse at 1.5... dang, now I have to watch Zombie Nation and see how awful it really is.
As far as a sequel to Manos? If they call it Manos 2: Electric Boogaloo, I'm all over that bad boy. Torgo

Actually it'll be called 'Manos: The Search For Valley Lodge'
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060666/news#ni3212657
Even though it's being refered to as a sequel, I can't help but notice the lack of a #2 or a pair of 'I's' so it may also be a 'reboot'...

I once rented a movie ..? "Chuhulu Mansion"?.. the coeds find their friend's murdered body in their basement and one of them says rather flatly sans emotion:"Oh, what should we do?"
Call the Police? Then they never do, being very forgetfull of the body in the basement , then as the credits roll I discover I just financed a college film made by some film class!
P-U! A real stinker!

You want a couple of REAL stinkers, watch "Frankenhooker" or "Carnosaur". Really cheesy bad movies.
