So, I live in a new (oold actually, and very haunted) house this year. It's pretty inspiring though because for years I lived in a perfectly normal house in the middle of suburbia. Now I live in an A-Frame on a private road just out of the city limits, but within eye shot of a very busy country road. I'd like to do something fun and unique (and within budget because I'm kinda poor these days!), so figured I'd pick your brains *mmm...brains*
I own a bit of stuff so I'm not starting from scratch, just hoping for some nifty thoughts on displaying them. Definitely plan on putting up my pumpkinrot with a hay bale or something, and I have a couple full skeletons and lighting and such. I'd like to do something to the actual face of the house. Any thoughts?

oh wow - and A frame!

Not sure that I wouldn't want to work with that shape and do something funky like a UFO theme and somehow incorporate the whole house... but if you've got existing graveyard stuff and want to stick with a budget, I'd go with that.
Hopefully some others have more creative ideas.I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

wow! Do the suggested Egyptian theme! Ive been dying to see a really good one for ideas myself. That picture Blumpkin posted would be perfect and looks doable,. You could paper mache the larger "statues" too. Kyaaaa! My brain is about to overload with excitement! I rode the Mummy rollercoaster as much as I could to see the cool decorations inside. Revenge of the Mummy best video on youtube to get a feel. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2YFx01omqY&feature=related"]YouTube- The Revenge of the Mummy Rollercoaster[/ame]

Well, I can think of LOTS of things you could do for the holiday on DEC 25th... LOL
I like the trees that you have. I don't have any trees, but if I did I would get a bunch of those TOT plastic JOL's and hang them in the trees. Light them up with lights.
I do like the Egyptian idea tho.

I see an FCG in the top window with black light.
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!

Nice thing about that A frame is you can hang cobwebs and stuff across it real easy. Good luck and the trees look great.

My first thought was a Haunted Hanzel and Gretel type of thing. Love the new house! And I'd love to hear about what ya got going on there as far as it being haunted!

Hey Stranger With Candy I can relate.
we just move from our Log Cabin in the county to a Rancher in a suburban neighborhood.
Hummmmm and well we were there just 3-4 months and there are already stories going around about us. LOL One I'm a huge Indian that works in a restaurant because I leave for work at 5 AM. Close. I am over 6 foot tall and I work for Scripps Networks (the Food Network).
We figure it had to do with my TIKI torches.

OH we are going to be a real something special this year for these folks LOLOLOL. };-))=
