It's the warm summer of July and I know that some of you are hard at work on your Halloween projects. I'm still running around on Craigslist and garage sales looking for decorations. I have a mummy under construction, a foam snake to repair, a dancing Santa being turned into a pirate and a mannequin being turned into a light up L.E.D. ghost.
Where is everyone else on their works?

I've got two large spiders under construction and I'm about 1/3 finished with a Pumpkinrot style scarecrow. So much to do, so much to do...

Well........not too far along. Completely gutted a room yesterday. (My haunt is up all year) to change it's theme. Changed my plans in a few areas. Got together the things I need for several projects, barely started a few. My husband and I have an agreement that I will try to enjoy the summer some and keep Halloween till after 4th of July. Been turning a part of my garage into a band/rec room for my son and his friends so I can get them out of my house. My goal was to have that done by the 4th and that's done so...... Anyway I always seem to work best Sept. and Oct. but my plan is to get the new wall treatments done asap. My haunt isn't air conditioned and boy is it ever HOT down there.

I'm with creepy crawler: so far behind it's not even funny. I have a Beloved to make, a vampiress ground-breaker to finish, a goat man and a vampire to make, a specialty chandleholder to make, an army of rats to sculpt ... oh god, just looking at this list makes me want to throw my hands in the air. I've shopped till I dropped and have all the supplies I could ever ask for, but alas "spare time" seems to be on backorder everywhere!

I want to have all of mine done before October so I can focus on the display itself. I have a large list (which I don't think I'll complete). I spend a good chunk of Saturday on my props, Sunday is yard work and props during my breaks to cool off.
Here is what I have on my list (it keeps growing thanks to the forum):

1) Guitar Playing zombie
2) "peekaboo" zombie - That is what I call one that pops up from behind a tombstone
3) Pirate Zombie w/ treasure chest
4) Pirate zombie II
Witch Crashes - Broom Glida's School of Broom Stick Flying
1) Sliding face first (building it right now)
2) Crash into side of house - Designed just need to build
3) Crash into the roof - Designed, will copy the house
4) Crash into the awning (legs and feet sticking out of the top, head and shoulders hanging out the bottom.
5) Classic Phone pole Crash
Tombstones - For each zombie
Pirate X 3
Chef Zombie
Grouch Zombie
Butler Zombie
Misc.
Darth Maul - 1/2 done
Sub Zero
Ghost for windowMaking the world a funnier place, one blucky at a time
