Converting the front yard into a graveyard will be challenging this Halloween season due to a home renovation project we have planned this late summer & early fall. Has anybody ever done some major exterior & interior home renovations and still put up all the outdoor Halloween decorations? Is that ok? I guess it would be better than canceling the entire annual display, right? We were planning on starting the graveyard much further away from the house to allow room for the construction crews. Smaller graveyard is better than no graveyard, right? Thanks.

I do both all the time. Today I'm removing stumps from the side yard. During my breaks, I work on a display. I just try to plan around my renovation work. Not easy, but it can be done.
Good luck!Making the world a funnier place, one blucky at a time

If there's still construction materials in the yard on Halloween use it to your advantage. Put some construction worker props in the yard, all of them having had various power tool blunders. Here's something for inspiration:

I love "This Haunted House". That was pretty funny.
