Thread: Entrance sign ideas needed

My haunt is a walk through the dark woods. I do not have a theme but I always have a sign at the entrance that folks can read while waiting for their turn to get in.Something that makes them wonder if coming to this place was a good idea...lol.
If you were reading this sign, what would it say that would make you want to just turn around and head back to your car?
It can be a legend, a rumor, a creepy story. Anything that your wild imagination can come up with.

It would make me think WTF, without seeming too obvious its just a scare

faux rusty beat up / bent caution warning signs....
stay on the path, washed out path ahead, beware wild animals, 0 Days without incident

The Dark Woods ask that you call your loved ones before your journey into our abyss... may be your last chance.

skrew the sign, do you know any cops? lmao....hav one hell of a ruckus going on out of sight but within ear shot, then hav your cop friends show up lights and sirens blazing, hav them run down to where the ruckus was coming from, then let the next tour go thru...hav the cops not come back...lol...leavem wondering..after awhile, hav your gate staff move the cop cars themselves and in 20 minutes hav the cops come back....after 20 minutes, the guests that saw it the first time should be gone...

we are going to do something similar with the first tour to come thru our maze..our first tour is gonna be actors that are in plain clothes that never come out...lol...its gonna be good..we hav the whole thing planed out.

what makes me turn around??? carnival rides and a concession stand.

Great idea, You can even print fake liabilty clauses and have the people in line sign them.
